After a long and painful labor, here is at last PAFFEFATZLE's cassette
"DER NEIE AUSBUND" or "VERDRICKELT DENKZEIGE VUN EEN FUTSCH VOLKSAAGE", the first and only Amish Synth album.

It is a an electronic linguistico-musical ode to the early anabaptists' mysticism, pacifism and ancient agricultural wonders, inspired by the landscapes the original Mennonites inhabited and harvested 500 years ago.

Words are sung and spoken in Deitsch, aka Pennsylvannia Dutch.

All music composed & recorded by Paffefatzle in 2019 between the Vosges and Switzerland, both historic motherlands of traditional Mennonites.

Music was then mostly stolen & destroyed, then re-assembled or re-recorded between 2020-2022 in Brussels.

Eternal thanks to the beautiful Vallée de la Bruche, the Principality of Salm-Salm, and the very precious research of Mark L. Louden and Prof. Wolfgang W. Moelleken.

Voice recordings on "Die Braucherei", "Der Glaawe is All S'Seem", "Wu Is Mei Schwatzer Gaul" by Wolfgang W. Moelleken/Karl-Heinz Wandt.

The ancient hymn "Das Loblied" is sung by Mark Louden & John Schmid.

"Die Muttersproch" is adapted from a traditional PA Dutch poem by Rev. Adam Stump.
